K.E. Carmel Society For Social Action Programme (KECSAP)

Origin: K.E. Carmel Society for Social Action Programme is an organized autonomous non political, non sectarian, nonracial voluntary social organization. It was registered in 2010 with the basic objective of empowering the rural poor children, to be united and to help them demand their educational rights. The society not only works for the poor children but also with the poor people respecting their direction and giving much value on their plans and actions.

Our vision and mission: Being aware of the fact that educational process is the most important human resource development, we have given first priority to the education of grass root level people. Our emphasis is on making people literate and consequently developing society. It is a service agency dedicated to the body of Christ irrespective of caste and creed to fulfill the task. The motto of KECSAP is to “worship the Lord through service”.

The Objectives: It is the principle objective of the organization to make people reach a point from where they can function on their own without further help from others. In the given objectives we have understood our responsibilities to be-

  1. To arrest the cause of poverty
  2. To eradicate the evils of illiteracy
  3. To improve the low status of women
  4. To help sustain community to reduce health hazards.
  5. To make sure that government mechanism of the area works better.
  6. To facilitate the people to earn a better income. The objectives that the beneficiary will derive to benefit towards their social and cultural upliftment through economic independence and development of character.

Activities Of Our Ministry: Our activities aim at integrated rural development which will improve the living as well as normal standards of the local inhabitants.
